By now, you’ve watched the free video training and you’ve downloaded the handout for the “Perfect” template from The Measurable Progress Framework.
If you use the “Perfect” template every time you answer a Task 1, you will be one of the few non-native speakers who rapidly earns serious points, makes a strong first impression and sounds in control of English during the first 20-30 words.
But…
What do you say next at TOEFL iBT Speaking to guarantee you earn enough points for an overall score of 26 or higher?
If you’re like most students who register with me, your career opportunities will change significantly after you get your target TOEFL iBT scores. For many of my students, every month that they are stuck with TOEFL iBT is literally painful. A lot of stress is created by TOEFL iBT and it is a real and literal source of health problems for many adults.
If you’re one of those people, I strongly encourage you to seriously consider what I’m about to say.
Below, you will see 2 options. Each option has their own pro’s and con’s.
I strongly encourage you to think it over and consider the pro’s and cons of each by discussing it with family, and emailing me with any questions or concerns you have.
If you choose this option, you will simply add The Perfect Introduction Template for Task 1 to your current approach… and you will not know about the other bonus points in the next 17 parts of TOEFL iBT Speaking tasks.
In Modules 1 and 2, you discovered how to get a ton more points in the Task 1 Introduction sentence…
… but if you stop your journey with me here, then you will not get my tips, lectures or insights about where or how to collect even more bonus points in the other 95% of the TOEFL iBT Speaking test.
If you have data proving that you’re not losing points in the 17 other green sections that make up the rest of Task 1, 2, 3 and 4, then option 1 is probably the right choice for you.
However, if you don’t have that data, or if you have a feeling that you’re missing lots of opportunities inside of every TOEFL iBT Speaking task because no tutor ever showed you what to say (like I just showed you)…
… Or if tutors convinced you to use their template or phrases but they never gave you any proof about the SpeechRater scores for those things… Then option 1 may not help you quickly reach your goal.
If you choose this option, you’ll have access to all of my video presentations, full of “secrets” to unlock the bonus points in all 4 TOEFL iBT Speaking tasks.
Instead of learning just 5% of what there is to know, you’ll learn 100%.
You’ll access this complete e-course by logging into my website (like you are now) and navigating to a different e-course called: The Measurable Progress Framework for Speaking at TOEFL iBT.
During Module 1, you’ll learn how I calculate your score and how you can log into your account for SpeechRater and get these kinds of score reports which allow you to identify your red line…
Most of my students—even the one who got results like above—do not consider themselves “good” at languages. If you’re always telling yourself that you have “bad” English, you’ll benefit a ton from Module 2. That is where you learn the “study protocols” that transform you into a language learner.
This is a major difference between The Measurable Progress Framework and other tutors and schools’ common approaches. Teachers can tell a class of 20 students to “study” but those 20 students will find 20 different ways to study. Some of the students will naturally discover successful methods and they will make faster progress with the language. However, other people (usually the ones who consider themselves “bad” at English, or who are more talented in math and science and less talented with language) will not magically discover the ways to develop fluency and automatic accuracy.
This is why I take the time in Module 2 to demonstrate what activities actually make you fluent. You’ll get handouts with step-by-step instructions (almost like a recipe for studying). All you have to do is dedicate time every day to following those particular activities and you’ll feel your fluency and accuracy increase.
The next 4 modules are dedicated to Task 1, 2, 3 and 4. If you liked my free training so far, you’re going to love the full course because I don’t redact or hide anything. You’ll have full access to my complete transcripts, audio files, and score reports.
In other words, I’m not asking you to simply trust me. I know that naively trusting tutors is why so many non-native speakers got into this mess with TOEFL iBT and it’s a big part of why your Speaking score has been low.
When you study with me, you’ll see proof with 30 score reports that show my SpeechRater scores for Task 1, Task 2, Task 3 and Task 4.
This will make it easy to identify exactly what kinds of things to say in each part of each task… and you’ll learn my tips and tricks for organizing your notes so that you’re calmer and more focused while you read, listen and prepare to talk.
In the modules for Task 1, 2, 3 and 4, you’ll also get certain assignments which make it easy for you to see your progress and identify exactly what you must do in order to see scores at 3.375 or above for full responses of Task 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Every week, I hear from students who are currently following The Measurable Progress Framework and completing the assignments. They tell me that they are more motivated and confident about TOEFL iBT Speaking because they can feel their progress usually for the first time ever.
The only students who see zero results are the ones who never use the e-course.
If you can dedicate 10-15 hours per week to studying, you’ll be done with the material in 4 weeks.
In the last module, you’ll learn how to put everything together and take full tests, back-to-back under pressure.
Last but not least, you get 3 free bonuses included with your registration. These are not cheap, fluffy bonuses. They’re super valuable and I actually pay out of pocket to mail them to your house at United States addresses.
